Ek Shaam Raksha Ke Naam:
Date: Saturday, November 14, 2009
Time: 6:00 pm
Location: Tadka (Alpharetta) Tickets: $75
This year Raksha is thrilled to bring comedian Vijai Nathan to the Ek Shaam stage. Vijai has performed internationally and been featured on a PBS special on gender. Canadian star Russell Peters refers to Vijai as "one of the top two South Asian comics in the world to watch! Vijai will be presenting "McGoddess: Big Macs, Karma and the American Dream" which takes a funny and touching look at the Indian American family.
We are still looking for volunteers to help us with various duties to help make this year's Ek Shaam successful! If you are interested in assisting us with ticket sales or in any other capacity, please contact Tonja Holder at development@raksha.org.
