Raksha is excited to announce the third (and the first virtual) Art Show in the series of annual art events that seek to bring together community and artists – amateur and professional; offbeat or traditional – and use art to inspire conversations around gender-based violence, abuse, trauma and rising to resilience. We see art as a form of healing and empowerment for survivors and a creative platform for diverse voices and unique perspectives.
In 2019, we were proud to showcase brilliant creations from 28 local artists around the theme Womens’ empowerment (I Believe: Stories of Strength). This year, with a wider virtual reach, we cannot wait to see the various interpretations of resilience from our artists. For more details and information, do browse through our sections (above)
