Why we need your help
The ongoing pandemic escalates risks and challenges for all survivors and their children. These challenges are compounded for immigrant and refugee survivors, whose unique circumstances (see box ✳) create hurdles on their path to recovery and expose them to re-victimization. Many Raksha clients are dealing with job uncertainty, evictions, delayed immigration relief, limited legal aid, court delays due to pandemic and limited access to services and safety.
